The Dubai Night Bus was introduced to provide 24-hour service in major destinations within Dubai from 11:30PM to 6:00AM. To know and plan your trip, call 8009090.


Metro Lines are the Green Line (Etisalat Station to Creek Station) and Red Line (Rashidiya Station to Business Bay to Jebel Ali Station); 2 transfer stations are Burjuman and Union to interchange between Red and Green Lines. All coaches have a ladies & children section.

Nol Card is the universal smartcard used as the mode of payment across all transport systems except taxis – bus, metro, abra (water bus), and tram. It is available in Gold, Silver, Blue for students, senior citizens, and disabled and Red for the occasional traveller.

Nol Cards can be sold and recharged at any ticket office & ticket vending machine across all Metro and Bus stations, authorized RTA sales agents, and online.

Operating Hours are Sunday to Wednesday and Saturday 5:50AM – 12MN, Thursday 5:50AM – 1:00AM, and Friday 1:00PM – 1:00 AM.


There are total of 20 Feeder Bus Routes that mobilize commuters to and from all the Metro stations. There are three feeder buses servicing Downtown Dubai: F13a (Financial Centre – Dubai Mall), F13 (Burj Khalifa – Dubai Mall), and F16 (Burj Khalifa – Jumeirah 2)


There is free parking at Dubai Mall and Souk al Bahar (the entrance to the latter is located opposite the entrance to Palace Hotel). Traffic can get very busy, especially during evening hours and weekends. The worst congestion is on roads surrounding Dubai Mall, especially on Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard (previously Emaar Boulevard). You are not only contending with residents, but also tourists flooding into the area.
